Walnut Hill School for the Arts is seeking a Scenic/Video Designer to join the Production Team starting in September, 2026.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Scenic/Video Designer, incorporating visual elements into a theatrical production. They will be able to use both video projection and 3D scenic elements to support the environment of a story, and have the two design elements blend with the full vision of the production.

Physical Demands:

Physical demands include dexterity for department specific tools and equipment, and office machine and supply operation including but not limited to: video equipment, 3D scenic elements, writing, typing, using electronic devices, computer, phone, calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and printers. Ability and dexterity to practice and demonstrate your artistic discipline. Stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, viewing, seeing, and sitting or standing for extended periods of time are common. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly through language and physical demonstration required.

Dates: September 9, 2026 - December 11, 2026

Compensation: $5,500 for the production
