Are you passionate about technology, logistics, and process improvement? Our client based in Port Elizabeth is looking for a Logistics Systems Analyst to join their team! Join a dynamic and innovative team where you will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) across multiple operations. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with operational and IT teams, drive system improvements, lead implementations, and contribute to business efficiency through technology-driven solutions.


Responsibilities: 
  • Define business requirements for WMS deployments, upgrades, and system configurations. 
  • Implement, maintain, and provide ongoing support for Warehouse Management Systems across operational facilities. 
  • Conduct WMS setups, account modifications, user training, new client onboarding, and system upgrades. 
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve WMS-related issues to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Recommend and manage operational system enhancements, process improvements, and technology innovations.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation to support end users and ensure best practice adoption. 
  • Create and execute testing scenarios, identify system discrepancies, and implement corrective solutions. 
  • Work closely with warehouse teams on WMS configurations, stock reconciliations, and operational support. 
  • Support WMS integrations with external and internal systems to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Manage and coordinate system-related projects, implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical support to users via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
  • Collaborate with operational and IT stakeholders to design and implement practical business solutions. 


Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science/Commerce in Computer Science or similar. 
  • 3+ years of experience with WMS/Logistics Systems. 
  • Super User experience in WMS is advantageous. 
  • Strong understanding of WMS, Order Management Applications and Database Systems. 
  • Softeon Experience is Advantageous. 
  • Comfortable travelling locally and internationally when required.
