Key Responsibilities

· Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures,functions, views, and triggers.

· Design and manage database structures ensuring data integrity, security,scalability, and performance.

· Writecomplex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, reporting,and business intelligence needs.

· Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, execution plananalysis, and indexing.

· Support ETL processes, data migration, integration, and datatransformation activities.

· Monitor database health, availability, backups, recovery processes, andsecurity compliance.

· Troubleshoot database issues, performance bottlenecks, and datainconsistencies.

· Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders toimplement data solution.

· Maintain technicaldocumentation and support database deployments, releases, and production operations.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

· 2–3 years of experience in SQL Development,Database Administration, or related roles.

· Strong understanding of relational databaseconcepts and data modeling.

· Experience working with enterprise-scaledatabases and reporting environments.

· Strong proficiency in SQL programming.

· Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQLServer, or similar RDBMS.

· Knowledge of Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers,Views, and Indexing.

· Hands-on experience in query optimization anddatabase performance tuning.

· Understanding of ETL processes and datatransformation techniques.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysismethodologies.

· Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or otherreporting tools is an added advantage.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, andcommunication skills.
