Job Details: Job Location: CQC - Danville - Montgomery City, MO 63361, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Capital Quarries is looking for a QC Tech.  This position will cover the Danville and Femme Osage Quarry and also travel to several quarries.The Quality Control Technician performs inspections, checks, and tests for quality of the material to be utilized in the manufacturing of aggregate materials, ensuring product quality and compliance with applicable specifications.RESPONSIBILITIES Provides verbal and/or written tests results and reports to the QC Manager and staff. Enforce quality control and Company safety policies on all aspects of the work. Conducts tests on sand and gravel. Communicate daily with QC Manager. Responsible for set up, adjustment and operation of laboratory/testing equipment.  Work around industrial equipment and machinery to obtain materials samples.  Record test results in a timely manner. Report and communicate test results. Clean, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment. Maintain test data files. Demonstrates knowledge of, or the ability to learn, safety rules and equipment including identification of precautions for and emergency response to chemical, electrical, and mechanical hazards. Demonstrates good workmanship in a neat and timely manner. Must be able to work in a variety of positions throughout the day including standing, stooping, bending at the waist, at waist level, shoulder height and above the head. The job location is in all areas as required in our geographical work area. Assist plant personnel with production and maintenance functions at times. Participate as a team member. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS:  Previous QC experience in a similar setting is a plus. Ability to work independently under strict time guidelines.  Proven track record of completing jobs while meeting all safety/schedule goals. Maintain a flexible work schedule allowing for travel to different facilities. Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Class E license. Subject to random drug screening and a medical review exam.  The employee will work primarily outdoors, exposed to inclement weather, and in the proximity of chemical, electrical and mechanical hazards. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Willingness to learn all aspects of sand and gravel operations to grow with the company. Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.
