We take pride in producing high-quality aluminum castings while building a collaborative, safety-focused environment where employees can thrive.We're looking for a proactive, hands-on, and adaptable 1st Shift Production Supervisor who can lead daily production operations while helping to support continuous improvement, new product launches, and engineering initiatives. This role requires someone who can balance day-to-day production demands with changing priorities, take initiative, and work closely with other departments to drive results.Key Responsibilities Oversee Daily Production: Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.  Support New Product Launches and Engineering Trials: Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, and other departments to support new product introductions/trials, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure smooth transitions into production. Develop and Engage Employees: Train, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders while promoting accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement. Be Flexible and Proactive: Anticipate production needs, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and take initiative to resolve issues before they impact operations. Monitor Performance: Track production KPIs, identify performance gaps, and take timely corrective action to achieve results. Lead with Safety and Accountability: Champion a culture of safety, quality, and respect by setting clear expectations, leading by example, and holding employees accountable. Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime, eliminate waste, and increase overall efficiency. Collaborate Across Departments and Shifts: Maintain strong communication with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other production teams to support operational goals and ensure effective shift handoffs. Maintain Safety and Quality Standards: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, LOTO requirements, and established quality standards.What We're Looking For Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Bonus if that experience has been in a foundry environment!  A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities, unexpected challenges, and evolving production needs. A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues, take ownership, and follow through on solutions. Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments, particularly during new product launches and production trials.
