Outdoor Equipment Co. is growing, and we're looking to add an experienced Accounts Payable & Accounting Specialist to our team at our Ray location. We're looking for someone organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of day-to-day accounts payable operations while supporting our financial team across multiple dealership locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage vendor invoices and payments.
• Monitor invoice due dates and accounts payable aging.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Track vendor credits, rebates, and returns.
• Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple locations.
• Assist with monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Support month-end accounting procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Previous accounts payable or accounting experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Lightspeed dealership management/accounting software preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Because this is a small department, dependable, consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to keeping daily accounting operations running smoothly, subject to applicable leave and accommodation requirements.
• Dealership, equipment, or inventory-based business experience is a plus.
