Key Responsibilities:

• Mixes a good quality product according to mix procedures.
• Must have knowledge of ingredients per mix formulations, Checks for proper weights, lot numbers and manufacturers.  Records information accurately on batch sheets; Checks off ingredients on mix sheet as they are being used; Makes adjustments to batch to achieve proper pH, fats, solids, etc.
• Encourages safe work practices; Follows GMP policy; Operates forklift; Helps batch person weigh ingredients for the next day’s production; Keeps mix room clear; Unloads oil, sugar, and corn syrup trucks; Pulls samples for quality control; Performs other duties as assigned.
• Keep detailed and accurate records.

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required. 
• Ability to use basic shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and write. 
• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

 Physical Demands:

• Moderate physical effort required, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Operate machinery and tools with precision and care.
