we are looking for an RN in Labor & Delivery Unit caring for approximately 200 births per month. The RN will provide safe, compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Job Type: Travel / Local Contract | 13 Weeks

Location: New Lenox, IL

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Shift: 12-Hour Nights

Schedule: 36 hours week

Pay

Local RN: $69/hour
Traveler RN: $69/hour — $35/hour W-2 taxable + $34/hour non-taxable stipend*

Key Responsibilities

Provide maternal and fetal monitoring throughout labor and delivery.
Assist physicians during childbirth and support patients through labor.
Educate and support mothers and families, including breastfeeding assistance.
Provide safe, patient-centered L&D care in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

1+ year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience – Required
Active Illinois RN License – Required
IL Nurse Agency License in profile – Required
BLS, ACLS & NRP – Required
Travel nursing experience – Preferred
