This role requires proficiency in using specialized equipment and processes vetted by investigators for clear imaging of the lower extremity artery, brachial artery, and heart.
The technologist will measure specified parameters using a dedicated computer measurement program in accordance with the study protocol.
Additionally, the individual will maintain image data and measurement files, reviewing the database and reporting findings as requested by study investigators.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in cardiovascular technology and the salary for this position is $65,000 per year.

The cardiovascular technologist will carry out the ultrasound protocol procedures outlined in the manual of operations of the studies to obtain ultrasound images and specified measurements of artery and heart structure. He/she will use the equipment, processes and settings which have been vetted by the investigators to obtain clear ultrasound images of the lower extremity artery, brachial artery, and heart. He/she will measure already specified parameters using a specialized computer measurement program provided by the investigators following the study protocol and manual of operations. He/she will maintain image data and data files of measurements from the study, review the database and report information provided by study investigators in table and/or narrative format as requested by the study investigators.
