The Poker Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of Supervising Tournament play during the Rungood Event.Â
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates an effective working knowledge of Supervision, policies and gaming procedures.Â
- Has knowledge in all area’s of Poker Tournament play, including but not limited to rules of play, registration, and facts about the current player of the year standings.Â
- Required to communicate all pertinent information to dealers, staff and other departments. Â Â Â
- Communicate with staff/other departments to ensure accurate transactions.  Â
- Creates an opportunity for fun and excitement by being friendly, supportive and enthusiastic towards guests. Â
- Adheres to Caesars Entertainments appearance standards. Â
- Demonstrates positive acceptance of demanding scheduling needs.Â
- Helps to maintain a clean and friendly environment for our guests by cleaning around the work area.Â
- Able to oversee employees and give clear direction of their role and responsibility. Â
- Oversee the performance of front of house employees/dealers. Â
- Always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same.Â
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.Â
- Supervisor must complete their daily assignments, paperwork as it relates to their shift responsibility and duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.Â
- Must be able to successfully complete a basic math test, and pass a Caesars audition displaying adequate Poker skills.Â
- Excellent employee and customer service skills are essential.Â
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.Â
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.Â
Additional Requirements:Â
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, including in and around assigned Pit area, up and down stairs in Theater, during entire shift. Â
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items as necessary. Â
- Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guests’ demands in a fast pace environment. Â
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust. Â
- Must be able to read, verify and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in a small area. Â
- Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets. Â
- Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money. Â
- Must accurately balance chip bank at the beginning and end of each shift.Â
- Excellent vision (including peripheral) is needed to protect the games. Â
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Â
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Â
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
