- Curriculum Vitae
- Brief statement of research interests
- Contact information for at least three professional references
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead synthesis and processing of quasi-one-dimensional van der Waals nanomaterials, fabricate nanowire devices, and perform electrical transport measurements to probe how atomic scale structural features translate into electronic performance. The researcher will collaborate with team members on AI and machine learning guided synthesis optimization and will contribute to structural characterization using electron microscopy and synchrotron based techniques. Active participation in scientific writing, presentations, and proposal development is expected.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field by the start date, with a strong background in electronic transport and condensed matter physics. Experience with low dimensional or van der Waals material synthesis is required. Familiarity with atomic resolution characterization techniques or data driven experimental approaches is a plus.
