Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services (LBAPS) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Authorization Specialist to join our growing operations team. This role is essential in helping clients access services efficiently by managing insurance authorizations, benefit verification, and coordination between intake, billing, and clinical departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit and manage insurance authorization requests and renewals
  • Verify insurance benefits and coverage details
  • Track approvals, denials, and authorization timelines
  • Coordinate with intake, billing, and clinical teams to ensure timely processing
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to authorizations
  • Follow up with insurance providers regarding pending requests and updates
