We are seeking a Senior Manager, Bankruptcy Claims and Noticing for our Legal Sector Services group. In this role, you will be focused on the development and execution of bankruptcy noticing and solicitation plans as both standalone client service projects and in service of our Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group. In addition, you willĀ be responsible forĀ supervising staff to execute client engagements across multiple client projects.

Ā What Work You WillĀ be Responsible For:Ā Ā 

  • Manages the client engagement team through all phases of a project, fromĀ initialĀ development meetings with the client, website and notice design, workflow management, court filings, execution, and final closeout to meet the scope and budget requirementsĀ 

  • Prepares court documents, including but not limited toĀ affidavitsĀ andĀ exhibitsĀ necessary for the fulfillment of court appointed roleĀ 

  • Maintains data integrity of notice lists, involving multiple classes of potential claimants along with necessary parties according to theĀ appropriate legalĀ and industry standardsĀ 

  • Exhibits excellent client service skills including the identification of opportunities to provideĀ additionalĀ services to clients and/or non-clients. Supports business development activities including client relationship development, program-specific positioningĀ activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, presentations, and contract negotiations consistent with established business development processes.Ā 

  • Builds andĀ maintainsĀ a growth pipeline,Ā gatherĀ referrals, andĀ maintainĀ extensive knowledgeĀ onĀ the firm’s service lines and offerings, as well as market conditions and penetration of services and solutions.Ā 

  • Serves as one of the firm’s primary contacts with the client and providesĀ timelyĀ communication with client leadership as well as the firm’s leadership. Strong involvement in client deliverablesĀ 

  • May beĀ requiredĀ to occasionally work extended hours, or travel to/work from different firm offices, conferences and events and/or client locations.Ā

Basic Qualifications:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s DegreeĀ required

  • 5+ years of related bankruptcy noticing and solicitation of claims process experienceĀ or related legal administration projects

  • 2+ years of experience in a management or supervisory role

Ā 

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:Ā 

  • Experience working with key bankruptcy stakeholders in the noticing andĀ solicitingĀ of bankruptcy claims, particularly in instances involvingĀ numerousĀ unrelated legal claims against the estate of the debtorĀ 

  • Juris Doctorate or L.L.M. in Bankruptcy Law preferredĀ 

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in business and technical environments and within a diverse group of individuals.Ā 

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.Ā 

  • Ability to perform effectively, efficiently and with quality under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.Ā 

  • Possess a high degree ofĀ professionalismĀ including the ability toĀ maintainĀ high levelsĀ of confidentiality.Ā 

  • Computer literate with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPointĀ
