Description
Night Float Anesthesiologist role collaborating at Bronx Care, NYC’s largest not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system. With more than 4,500 employees and 859 beds, Bronx Care serves city residents as the largest not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system covering the South and Central Bronx. The Bronx Care network provides close to 1 million outpatient visits, and ER volume has increased to 140,000 visits annually. Bronx Care’s Clinical Collaboration with the Mount Sinai Health System, its medical school affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and its 16 accredited fellowship and residency programs amply indicate the system’s stature and excellence. Case Assignments & Schedule
• Schedule: 26 weeks on/off, 7p-7a
• Peds, endo, general, ENT, neuro, vascular, GYN, plastics

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution 
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency 
• Board Eligible or Board Certified  
• Current medical licensure 
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable) 

BronxCare, $620K, $100K Sign on Incentive; 26 weeks on/ 26 weeks off
