Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Leland - Bronx, NY 10460Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: AnyWhat You’ll Do: •Assume responsibility for the residence in the absence of the Residence Manager, ensuring safety and compliance. •Assist in orienting, supervising, and evaluating Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring they follow proper procedures. •Follow appropriate 624 procedures for reporting incidents and ensure proper documentation. •Schedule staff coverage, verify time worked, and review time sheets and overtime records. •Accompany individuals on appointments and activities, helping teach daily living skills and assisting DSPs in doing the same. •Assist with the upkeep of the residence and ensure the proper functioning of the physical plant, furnishings, and appliances. •Administer and verify the distribution of medication, maintaining accurate medication records (AMAP ledgers). •Ensure proper documentation of activities, incidents, and other required reports, including daily logs, activity sheets, and trip evaluations. •Conduct fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures, ensuring that both staff and individuals are prepared for emergencies. •Attend staff meetings, in-service training, and required certification programs. •Work alongside clinical support staff (nurses, therapists, psychologists) to provide individualized care and support. • May be assigned other tasks and duties by the Residence Manager that is reasonably related to their job responsibilities.
