The Role

 

DUTIES:

  • Associate Director - Business Systems Analysis within the Individual Marketplace Line of Business with Willis Towers Watson US LLC in Buffalo, New York. 

  • Shape and deliver cyber security programs that enhance value, security, agility, and efficiency. 

  • Provide strategic direction and recommendations to improve WTW's overall security posture. 

  • Proactively identify areas for intervention to ensure successful program outcomes, leveraging experience in program and project management methodologies. 

  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders to ensure effective delivery, identify key issues, and work together to resolve them.

  • Assess training needs, align communications to stakeholder groups, and coach colleagues to deliver change effectively.

  • Collaborate with internal/external teams, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Coordinate with legal, contracting, procurement, finance, and communications departments for successful project rollout.

  • Present cybersecurity program status reports to senior management through program governance structures.

  • Use data and evidence to quantify risk reduction and overall program status towards desired outcomes.

  • Provide metrics and artifacts supporting audit activities.

  • Align the cybersecurity program with business objectives, mission, and values by developing comprehensive strategies and tactics.

  • Work with workstream accountable Executives and program leads to develop global change strategies.

  • Design rollout plans per workstream and within the program team.

  • Support business teams in developing their own change plans, including site discovery, technical inventories, and analysis where required.

  • Ensure operational readiness and conduct post-implementation reviews.

  • Lead project workstream workshops/meetings with assigned business teams, ensuring actions are agreed upon, responsibilities assigned, deadlines set, and remediation activity tracked through to completion.

  • Provide reporting and tracking to sponsors and executive teams.

  • 40 hours/wk; Monday-Friday; 9am-5pm; Salary Range: $140,000 to $160,000 per annum.

 

 

Qualifications

The Requirements

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related information technology field,plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer/DevOps engineer or related role -- OR  -- Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related information technology field,plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer/DevOps engineer or a related role.

  • Project management experience with large change projects within a global corporate function, including the delivery of new technology to end users and supporting a wider program of work.

  • Experience with Enterprise identity and access management solutions.

  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Ariba, CI/CD, automation

  • Enterprise Tooling focused on monitoring and insights for on-premises, cloud and global network environments, Service Desk operations

  • Security & Compliance: SOX, SOC, HIPAA, FIM/SIM, vulnerability management

  • CSM or CSPO certification required
