Associate Producer - AD 

Overview: 

Architectural Digest is seeking an Associate Producer to join our dynamic, fast-paced video team. In this critical role, the Associate Producer will work closely with our creative production team on all video production, providing general support across pre-production, post-production, and on-set responsibilities during shoots as needed. This role reports into the Senior Director, Creative Production. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Support team leads on projects from greenlight to delivery. Work collaboratively across the entire creative production team, functioning as a liaison between all departments. 

  • Track projects and scheduling, and flag any issues including around deadlines. Ensure all projects and assets are delivered on time.

  • Prepare for shoots, location pick ups, returns, props, and crafty. Coordinate production logistics so all needs and gear requirements are met before the shoot. 

  • With Production Management, build preliminary budgets with the assistance/supervision of Production Management. Assist with Fair Use agreements, contracts and releases for Production Management to review and approve. 

  • Independently film low-lift video content in both field and studio environments. 

  • Possess post-production proficiency to deliver quick-turnaround edits.

  • Create call sheets and assist with casting requests. 

  • Capture notes and track continuity issues during pre production, production, and post production. 

  • On site (as needed), work alongside the creative production team capturing all necessary information, b-roll shots, props shots, artwork or Fair-Use shots during shoots, as well as script notes and shot lists. Support production crews with load-in/strike.

  • Collaborate with Production and Post Production on all required assets to source and clear for use including music research, stills/images, and clips. Review all cuts for brand standards and content integrity, and provide creative feedback as requested. Coordinate research needs.

  • Join team brainstorms on casting, storylines, ideas, and more for approved concepts and projects. Participate in creative solutions meetings around various programming initiatives and share creative feedback as requested.

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of experience producing and developing digital videos across various platforms. 

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects at the same time under tight deadlines and fixed resources. 

  • Full understanding of production and post-production workflows. 

  • Must have superior written and verbal skills, and  communicate with top talent and contributors.

  • Must be a solutions-oriented problem solver.

  • Must demonstrate a collaborative mindset.

  • Experience with design, celebrity, lifestyle, or pop culture content is a must.

The expected base salary range for this position is from $68,000 to $80,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
