Position Overview

Join our growing Construction Litigation Group in Manhattan, where you will represent clients in complex matters involving construction disputes, NYS Labor Law defense, and construction defect/property damage claims. We are seeking both junior and senior associates with diverse backgrounds to strengthen our team.

Job Duties:

  • Handle depositions, court appearances, and motion practice in state and federal courts.
  • Advise clients on construction litigation strategy, risk management, and insurance coverage issues.
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents with precision and clarity.
  • Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Contribute to the firm’s reputation for excellence by demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, and professionalism.
  • Respond to catastrophic events, meeting with clients and develop litigation defenses

Requirements: 

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Admission to the New York Bar required; New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.
  • 2+ years of litigation experience (junior and senior candidates considered), with emphasis on construction/NYS Labor Law defense and property damage claims.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly.
  • Demonstrated professional judgment, problem‑solving ability, and decision‑making skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and committed to delivering high‑quality work.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate professionally with clients.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package and a collaborative, friendly environment. The salary range for this role is $115,000-$160,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
