For over 45- forty-five years, our organization has provided mental health and holistic services in northern Manhattan for families, children, adolescents, and other adults including the elderly in a supportive and caring environment. We also
have an outpatient and residential substance use program as well as a Therapeutic Preschool for 3-5 year old.

Under the supervision of the Program Director the Clinical supervisor will provide clinical oversight to our OASAS Outpatient 822 Program by enhancing quality, efficiency, productivity, and client engagement of the clinic.

    

                                                                                                JOB DESCRIPTION


Position: Clinical Supervisor

Program: Addiction Treatment Services

Union Status: Non Union


Duties:

  • Under the supervision of the Program Director, the clinical supervisor is responsible for the supervision, evaluation, scheduling, and corrective action of paid and volunteer personnel (interns).
  • Provides weekly/monthly clinical supervision to program clinical staff
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly statistics with expected deliverables.
  • Provides individual/group counseling and maintains a small high risk caseload
  • Review and sign off on Treatment Plans and Psychosocial
  • Creates/forms linkage agreements with potential referral sources
  • Assist with chart reviews and day-to-day clinical oversight of the clinic
  • Assist with the development, planning, and implementation of strategies to manage census, and program growth and ensure self-funding and sustainability of the program.
  • Regularly review charts to ensure compliance with OASAS 822 regulations
  • Initiate, implement and monitor compliance with evidence-based practices.
  • Regularly provide clinical training to clinical services staff and interns.
  • Development of linkages for referrals, conduct outreach and maintain working relationships with referral sources
  • Facilitates weekly case conference, including maintaining weekly agenda accounting for admits, discharges, and clients requiring case conferences
  • Participates in assigned internal and external meetings
  • Completes and ensures that STARS is updated at all times

Additional tasks as needed contingent on program needs


Reports to: Program Director and Assistant Director

Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC and CASAC
  • Minimum: Masters of Social Work/Masters of Mental Health Counseling
  • Minimum: Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical supervision

Minimum: Three (3) to five (5) years working in a clinical/substance use program or clients experiencing past or current substance use and/or dual diagnoses.
