We are working with a growing General Contractor in New York City that is looking to bring in an Assistant Superintendent or early-career Superintendent to join the team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who already has solid site experience but is now ready to step up, take ownership and really make a project their own.

The business delivers a mix of office renovations, commercial interiors and ground-up commercial projects across Manhattan, and they are looking for someone who is hands-on, adaptable and keen to grow with the company.

The Role

You’ll be working closely with the Project Manager and leadership team to help drive projects on site from start through completion.

Responsibilities will include:

Coordinating subcontractors and daily site activities

Managing site logistics, sequencing and short-term planning

Supporting schedule management and keeping trades on programme

Maintaining quality and safety standards across the site

Working closely with PMs, clients, architects and subcontractors

Identifying issues early and helping drive practical solutions

Managing punch list and project closeout

Taking increasing ownership of projects as you develop within the role

What They’re Looking For

This could suit:

An Assistant Superintendent with around 3+ years of construction experience who is ready for more responsibility

A newer Superintendent looking for a business where they can take real ownership

Experience working on commercial interiors, office renovations or ground-up commercial construction

Someone who is confident managing trades and communicating with different stakeholders

A hands-on individual who is willing to learn and adapt

Someone who is not overly set in their ways and is comfortable working within a fast-moving GC

A driven personality who wants to grow into running their own projects
