About Omnicom Health Market Access
Omnicom Health Market Access is a specialized market access network that helps life sciences brands navigate complexity and accelerate access for patients, providers, payers, and other healthcare decision-makers. Combining strategy, creative, analytics, and technology, we develop integrated, data-driven solutions that communicate the clinical, economic, and real-world value of therapies throughout the product lifecycle.
With more than 300 dedicated market access professionals and the support of Omnicom Health’s global capabilities, we partner with clients to turn complex evidence into clear, compelling communications that help bring life-changing treatments to the people who need them.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Copy Supervisor with strong healthcare writing experience who is comfortable translating complex clinical, economic, and market access information into clear and compelling communications.
This is a hands-on writing role with significant ownership. You’ll work closely with Art, Strategy, Account, Editorial, and other cross-functional partners to develop work for payer and market access audiences while helping shape messaging and creative direction across assigned brands.
The work can span payer marketing and value communications, presentations and sales materials, market access campaigns, reimbursement and access communications, value propositions, leave-behinds, digital content, and other payer-facing materials. Depending on the account, you may also work with HEOR/RWE data and clinical evidence to support the broader value story.
You’ll own copy from initial concept and manuscript development through client presentation, revision, and final MLR submission. You’ll also provide guidance and mentorship to more junior writers.
What You’ll Do
- Develop compelling, strategically sound copy across payer, market access, and healthcare communications
- Translate complex clinical, economic, HEOR/RWE, and market access information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging
- Develop value propositions, payer presentations, sales materials, leave-behinds, digital content, campaign concepts, reimbursement and access materials, and other market access communications
- Generate messaging frameworks, headlines, key concepts, data-driven narratives, and supporting copy
- Interpret clinical studies, published literature, market research, and other source materials to develop accurate and persuasive content
- Partner closely with Art to concept and execute integrated creative work
- Collaborate with Strategy, Account, Editorial, Project Management, and other agency disciplines
- Present creative work and rationale to internal teams and clients and participate actively in client discussions
- Own manuscripts through the review process, including referencing, annotation, revisions, and preparation for MLR submission
- Ensure scientific and factual accuracy while maintaining the integrity of the creative idea and brand strategy
- Manage multiple projects and priorities across assigned brands while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
- Review the work of junior writers and provide clear, constructive creative direction and mentorship
What We’re Looking For
- Significant professional copywriting experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical communications, or a related agency environment
- Experience developing communications for payer, market access, managed care, HEOR, value communications, or other sophisticated healthcare audiences strongly preferred
- Ability to understand and communicate complex scientific and data-driven information
- Experience working collaboratively with Art Directors and multidisciplinary agency teams
- Comfortable presenting work and interacting directly with clients
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory and MLR processes, including referencing and annotation
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior writers is a plus
