Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) to lead our CPE program within a dynamic hospital setting. In this role, you will shape the spiritual formation of future chaplains — designing curriculum, supervising student interns, and upholding the highest standards of the ACPE.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, & admit CPE student interns; provide supervision and evaluation
- Develop and manage curriculum, handbooks, and educational goals for Level I & II CPE
- Ensure program delivery in full compliance with ACPE standards
- Maintain accurate records, reports, policies, and educational resources
- Collaborate with the Chaplaincy team and serve on institutional committees
- Develop on-call coverage plans in coordination with the Director of Pastoral Care
Qualifications
- Master's degreeÂ
- ACPE Certified Educator in good standingÂ
- Board Certified Chaplain (APC, NACC, or Neshama) — preferred
- Chaplaincy experience in a healthcare setting
- CPE management experience
- Demonstrated ability to work with multicultural, diverse staff and patient populations
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Pay Range
USD $97,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
