The Manager, Planning will help to deliver our clients’ business objectives through bespoke and insight rooted digital programs. This individual is the day-to-day liaison between the client, account team, and the digital media community. They will build and maintain strong relationships with the media vendor community to ensure that our clients get premium access to opportunities and that our plans are the most innovative in the industry. They will steward media plan development and implementation, including ongoing and insightful performance reporting and optimization recommendations to maximize return on investment. They will be tasked to manage up to director level and supervise the analyst’s day-to-day activities making sure that their growth as digital media professionals is of utmost importance.

Responsibilities 

  • Strategy  
    • Develop recommendations based on media and marketing objectives, referencing historical data to develop spend and performance projections  
    • Ensure strategy and approach is integrated with other media  
    • Evaluate new ad and targeting products Client Services  
    • Lead status calls with partners and client teams  
    • Key contact for clients, ensuring prompt and clear responses to client questions and requests  
    • Build, or assist in crafting, POVs on technologies, platforms, best practices, and creative opportunities  
  • Execution Management  
    • Oversee implementation of Awareness and DTC media plans  
    • Check for accuracy, timeliness and quality of launches, optimizations, and tests 
    • Coordinate with team members to prioritize planned and ad hoc deliverables  
    • Help refine internal processes to improve workflow and train new team members 
    • Lead billing process   
    • Reporting & Insights  
    • Provide clear and concise highlights and actionable insights  
    • Uncover new targeting/bidding opportunities to buy more efficiently and better understand the outcomes we drive for clients   

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Digital Strategy or Activation role  
  • DTC experience strongly preferred - Client facing experience  
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Management & Entrepreneurship)  
  • Experience managing and mentoring at least one team member, providing thought leadership to junior team members  
  • Must be comfortable analyzing and presenting data - experience effectively using Excel & PowerPoint required  
  • Collaborative nature and experience with media owners, agency business units, and creative agency partners  
  • Comfort level with data, analytics and measurement, and various data sources and methodologies Thorough knowledge of the principles of marketing/advertising, understanding of media concepts and creative requirements

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range
$50,000—$95,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
