Your RoleĀ 

The Manager, Investor Relations will report into the Vice President, Investor Relations,Ā joining aĀ teamĀ thatĀ plays a critical role in communicating Aptiv’s business strategy, financial performance, and long-term value creation to the investment community. This individual will partner closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Strategy, Marketing, and Communications teams, among others, to develop compelling messaging that clearly articulates Aptiv’s leadership position across markets, near- and long-term financial performance and opportunity, as well as value proposition.Ā Ā

Your ResponsibilitiesĀ 

Key responsibilities of the Manager, Investor Relations include the following:Ā 

  • Financial AnalysisĀ 

  • Analyze quarterly financial performance and identify key drivers for revenue, margins, cash flow, etc.Ā Ā 

  • Monitor consensus estimates,Ā understand embedded assumptionsĀ (including working directly with analysts),Ā and identify variances versus expectationsĀ /Ā guidanceĀ 

  • AnalyzeĀ peer financial performance and summarize key takeaways relative to AptivĀ 

  • Market and Competitive IntelligenceĀ 

  • Monitor and analyze news flow and investor messaging across peer companiesĀ 

  • Monitor investor sentiment and summarize feedback across investor/analyst calls, conferences, roadshows, and other meetingsĀ 

  • Identify emerging investor concerns and recommend messaging strategiesĀ 

  • External CommunicationsĀ 

  • Develop clear and compelling messaging around Aptiv’s business strategy, financial performance, competitive positioning, long-term growth opportunities, and value proposition to the investment communityĀ 

  • Support preparationĀ for quarterly earnings, including press releases, presentations, scripts, and Q&A documentsĀ 

  • Support preparation for all other investor engagements including Investor Day, speaking engagements, and corporate announcementsĀ 

  • Assist in responding to investor/analyst inquiries and calls, including expectation toĀ handle independently with timeĀ 

  • Contribute to shareholder engagement strategies, including targetingĀ for conferences and NDRs,Ā whileĀ utilizing CRMĀ to measure and evaluate effectivenessĀ 

  • Internal CommunicationsĀ 

  • Work closely withĀ various internal constituentsĀ to coordinate messaging and ensure consistent across all external communicationsĀ 

  • SupportĀ preparationĀ of Board of Directors presentationsĀ and communications,Ā andĀ employee-facingĀ presentations, ranging from Leadership to All EmployeesĀ

Your BackgroundĀ 

Required:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, orĀ another related fieldĀ 

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience,Ā with a minimum ofĀ two yearsĀ spent inĀ aĀ Capital Markets-related roleĀ 

  • ExceptionalĀ financial modeling and analytical skillsĀ 

  • ExceptionalĀ written and verbal communication skillsĀ 

  • AdvancedĀ proficiency inĀ Microsoft Office, and either Bloomberg or FactSetĀ Ā 

  • Ability toĀ communicate complex technical and financial topics to investment communityĀ Ā 

  • Strong project management and organizational skillsĀ

They will be highly analytical and strategic, with the ability to quickly synthesize complex technical, financial, and market information into clear, compelling investment narratives. The ideal candidate will be proactive and anticipatory in managing team workflows, comfortable operating independently across assigned workstreams, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while collaborating effectively with executive leadership, institutional investors, analysts, and cross-functional teams.Ā
