Rather than providing traditional office-based therapy, the Licensed Professional travels throughout the community to deliver services in homes, schools, and other natural settings, allowing treatment to occur in the environments where challenges arise and skills can be practiced in real time. The OLP is responsible for conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, establishing diagnoses and determining medical necessity, developing individualized treatment plans, providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy, delivering crisis intervention, and coordinating care with families and community providers. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to independently manage a community-based caseload while collaborating closely with caregivers, schools, medical providers, and multidisciplinary team members. The overall goal is to improve emotional and behavioral functioning, strengthen family relationships, promote stability across home, school, and community settings, and reduce the need for higher levels of behavioral health intervention. Essential Functions and Primary Responsibilities: Provide field-based behavioral health services in homes, schools, and community settings where children and families naturally live, learn, and interact. Travel throughout the assigned service area to meet families in the community and deliver clinically appropriate interventions in natural environments.
