UniversaCare is hiring a personal care aide to care for clients in northeast Queens and Great Neck. You’ll work out of our UniversaCare of Great Neck office at 45-16 251st Street, Suite 110, Little Neck, NY 11362.
Pay: $19.65 to $25 per hour. The starting rate is New York’s home health aide minimum wage and rises each year with it.
Schedule: Part-time and full-time.
What you’ll do
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and daily routines
- Prepare meals and do light housekeeping, laundry and shopping
- Keep clients company and help them stay safe at home
- Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your supervisor
What you need
- Completed New York Personal Care Aide training, or a New York HHA certificate
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
