Our client is seeking a Real Estate Associate with three to five years of experience for its corporate real estate practice in New York City. The position offers work across acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and general contracting, with direct client interaction and substantial document drafting and negotiation.

The work

• Advise on real estate acquisitions and dispositions, contributing to transactions from document preparation and negotiation through the related client work.
• Support leasing matters by drafting and negotiating material definitive documents and addressing the commercial and legal issues presented by each transaction.
• Work on general contracting matters, including drafting and negotiating material definitive documents.
• Interface directly with clients and help manage the legal work and communications associated with active matters.
• Contribute to hyperscaler data center leasing, construction, and development matters where relevant; experience in these areas is a plus.

What you bring

• Three to five years of experience in real estate law.
• Experience handling real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
• Experience with leasing matters and the related transactional documentation.
• Experience with general contracting matters.
• Ability to draft and negotiate material definitive documents.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Experience at a comparable law firm.
• Experience with hyperscaler data center leasing, construction, and development is a plus.
