Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Corporate Plaza Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and assist visitors, tenants, and employees with professionalism. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to commercial property entrances, visitor management systems, employee credentials, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization; issue and recover access credentials or visitor passes; and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or access-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
