Chase Fire, a top fire protection company in Paterson, is looking for a Shop Recharge Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that fire extinguishers are properly stocked, refilled, and tested for safety and compliance. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and is eager to contribute to fire safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, recharge, refill, and service fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA standards and company procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure fire extinguishers are fully operational and compliant.
• Stock, organize, and maintain shop inventory, supplies, and equipment.
• Accurately document completed inspections, maintenance, and service activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience servicing fire extinguishers, performing mechanical work, or working in a related field is preferred but not required.
• W-96 Certificate of Fitness preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability and willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment on a regular basis.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Must have valid drivers license.
