At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), the Supervisor, Revenue Cycle is a pivotal leadership role that directly impacts financial performance and the patient experience. This position offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive operational excellence, and partner across clinical and administrative functions to enhance revenue cycle outcomes in a world-renowned healthcare organization. Role OverviewÂ
Oversee daily operational activities within a functional area of the Revenue Cycle division, specifically in Physician BillingÂ
Lead, develop, and manage a team of 10+ staff, ensuring strong engagement, accountability, and performance outcomesÂ
Continuously evaluate workflows, systems, and staffing to optimize efficiency and productivityÂ
Monitor quality and performance standards, identifying trends and implementing improvement strategiesÂ
Lead responses to workflow changes, adjusting priorities and resource allocation as neededÂ
Supervise staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional developmentÂ
Manage accounts receivable processes, including payer trends, denials, and revenue disruptionsÂ
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, billing compliance, managed care, and clinical teamsÂ
Oversee financial outcomes tied to billing and collections, ensuring alignment with institutional goalsÂ
Lead or contribute to projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance patient and operational outcomesÂ
Promote the use of data, automation, and emerging technologies (including AI) to improve revenue cycle performance and operational efficiencyÂ

Key QualificationsÂ
Demonstrated experience leading teams in a fast-paced environmentÂ
Experience in hospital revenue cycle, patient financial services, or related healthcare operationsÂ
Required experience with Epic (Revenue Cycle modules preferred)Â
Familiarity working with clinical teams or healthcare billing processesÂ
Demonstrated ability to manage staff performance, engagement, and professional developmentÂ
Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, payer interactions, and reimbursement practicesÂ
Ability to lead and champion the incorportation of AI tools and technologies into existing workflowsÂ
Solid reporting capabilities, leveraging data to drive strategy and approach to account receivable managementÂ

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify trends and root causes in operational dataÂ
Proven leadership and team development capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and performance managementÂ
