Job Description:

As VP, Client Partner, you own the success of some of Critical Mass's most important client relationships. You're the person clients call when the stakes are high, and the person your team looks to for direction when the path isn't obvious. You think like a strategist, lead like a coach, and run your business like an owner. You know how to grow an account by delivering work that matters, and you bring a polished, structured approach that reflects the best of the agency.

Leading multidisciplinary teams across offices doesn't make you sweat. Neither does a tough conversation, a shifting brief, or an ambitious revenue target.

What you'll do

  • Own the full scope of your client relationships, setting direction, delivering on business objectives, and making Critical Mass indispensable.
  • Drive revenue growth across your line of business by spotting and building organic opportunities within existing accounts and helping win new ones.
  • Partner with the Executive Team to set financial and operational goals, and own the strategic planning, fiscal management, and day-to-day operations of your business.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset, pushing your team and clients toward innovation and measurable business impact.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team. Set a clear vision, manage performance, mentor future leaders, and set the example.
  • Champion excellence by making sure everything we deliver meets Critical Mass's standards for quality and creativity.
  • Stay ahead of what's next in digital, AI, and emerging technology, and turn it into opportunities for your clients.
  • Balance client priorities with agency goals, making smart trade-offs that serve both.
  • Contribute to the agency beyond your accounts through knowledge sharing, best practices, succession planning, and representing Critical Mass externally.
  • Live Critical Mass's values, and build a team culture where collaboration and initiative thrive.

What you bring

  • 12+ years in client services across marketing, advertising, or consulting, including senior leadership of large, complex accounts.
  • A track record of owning revenue targets and growing client relationships.
  • Deep understanding of how digital experiences are planned and built, including eCommerce, analytics, content management, and digital marketing. Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is an asset.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, ideally across multiple offices.
  • Executive presence, with outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Sound judgment and tact, especially when the pressure is on.
  • The ability to assess quickly, make decisions, and act.
  • A sharp eye for detail without losing sight of the big picture.

Salary Range: $190,000 - $250,000
