Job DetailsJob Location: New York, NY 10010Salary Range: $47.71 - $53.01 HourlyTHE POSITION  Rudin, as agent, seeks to hire a Watch Engineer to join the company. We are looking for a candidate that can hit the ground running. This is a Local 94 Union position subject to the terms of the 2023 Engineer Agreement between Realty Advisory Board on Labor Relations, Incorporated and Local 94-94A-94B International Union of Operating Engineers AFL-CIO (“Contract”).    Responsibilities Oversee the operation, maintenance & repair of mechanical systems throughout the building, including but not limited to chiller plant, pumps, fans, heat exchangers, plumbing, electrical, fire safety systems, elevators, emergency generator, BMS, water treatment, and building technology.  Direct and supervise Helpers performing maintenance and repair work. Ensure maintenance records are kept accurately and up to date. Fire Life Safety Director (FLSD); Responsible for performing all required inspections and drills, and keeping all required records up to date as per code. Maintenance and repairs in building core areas such as bathrooms, corridors, etc. Compliance with Rudin construction standards. Understanding and ensuring compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules Recognize signs of potential danger and enforce safety measures. Immediately report all unsafe working conditions and ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner. Interact with tenants and provide first class service. Maintain tenant confidentiality and security while working in sensitive areas. Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods, lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs., as well as manual labor.  Computer skills are a plus. Punctual and reliable, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must use sound judgment, show discretion, and maintain confidentiality. Detail oriented and extremely organized with an ability to multi-task Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.    Licensing & Certifications  Q-01, Refrigerating System Operating Engineer  EPA Universal Certification  The following certificates issued by the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) are required for this position:  CoF – A-35, Operate and Maintain Air Compressors  CoF – P-98, Fuel Oil Piping and Storage System  CoF – S-12, Citywide Sprinkler Systems  CoF – S-13, Citywide Standpipe Systems CoF – F-89, Fire Life and Safety Director (FLSD) for building
