Adjunct Lecturer, Chemistry

The Chemistry Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach the following undergraduate courses during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Job Description:

Fall 2026
CHEM BC2012, General Chemistry Lab
Fridays, 8:10 AM-11:30 AM
Weekly office hours to be scheduled in coordination with the General Chemistry Laboratory Director

Pay Rate: $9,240

Exact instructional assignments and other academic responsibilities are determined by the Chair or Director.

Required Qualifications

Terminal degree in a related discipline, with all requirements for the degree completed by the time of hiring offer.
