Sonic Summary

The Nursing Attendant is responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities and providing basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a Nursing Attendant certification.
Previous experience as a nursing attendant is required, with a preference for experience in Behavioral Health and/or Substance Use Disorder.
This role is a key component of the Psychiatric team, contributing to the treatment and management of Behavioral Health patients.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Under the direction and guidance of the Registered Nurse, the Nursing Attendant performs a variety of patient care duties and tasks related to activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care and maintains the environment, equipment and supplies. The CNA, as part of the Psychiatric team, plays an integral part in the treatment and management of the Behavioral Health patient

Qualifications

HS Diploma/GED
• Nursing Attendant certification
• Previous nursing attendant experience
• Experience in Behavioral Health AND/OR Substance Use Disorder is preferred
