Scan Lab Instructor, Diagnostic Medical Imagining Program - Multiple Positions

The Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/part-time Adjunct Instructor / Scan Lab Instructor. The successful candidate will:

• Instruct students and provide feedback on ultrasound scanning techniques.
• Ensure students maintain scan lab and equipment and practice proper infection control prevention.
• Comply with AIUM and CAAHEP standards and guidelines.
• Administer and score OSCE's on campus. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree.
• 2+ years of sonography experience.
• Active RDMS and/or RDCS certification.
• Clinical experience.
• Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate orally with student and faculty. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
