"POSITION SUMMARY: The Director, Treasury is a pivotal role within the Treasury job function, specifically aligned with the Treasury General/Multifunction job family. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing complex treasury operations, ensuring alignment with BNY's strategic pillars and principles. The role supports BNY's commitment to operational excellence and client service by optimizing liquidity management, risk assessment, and financial strategies. The Director, Treasury plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and innovation, contributing to the organization's long-term financial stability and growth. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the development and implementation of treasury strategies by demonstrating expertise in liquidity management and financial risk assessment. Oversee daily treasury operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on financial planning and capital management. Monitor market trends and economic indicators to inform decision-making and mitigate potential risks. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the treasury function, aligning with BNY's principles and strategic goals. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred. EXPERIENCE: Typically 10-12 years of experience. SKILLS: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent leadership and communication abilities. Proficiency in financial modeling and risk management tools."

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered.
