Job DetailsJob Location: Newark, NJ 07102Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 HourlyPosition Overview The Assistant Supervisor will support the Regional or Area Manager with various daily tasks, including training assistance, conducting inspections, reporting issues, covering call-outs, and ensuring all staff adhere to safety protocols. This role requires an experienced cleaning professional who can maintain high cleaning standards while effectively meeting customer needs.   Key Responsibilities Training: Collaborate with the Regional or Area Manager to train new Service Partners to Building Task Schedules and ServiceMaster cleaning techniques. Assists in training new hires when needed to ServiceMaster TBS standards and complete training sign-offs. Inspection: Perform building inspections as scheduled, complete Recap Forms, and upload photos to CompanyCam. May be required to assist in follow-up inspections to account for complaints. Reporting: Complete daily recaps and assist in addressing any quality issues or audit call-outs. Monitor building supplies by checking inventory levels of cleaning supplies. Reports any shortages to the Regional or Area Manager. Coverage: Cover callouts and open positions if coverage cannot be found. Safety Management: Manage and report safety concerns and incidents to the Regional or Area Manager. QualificationsQualifications Education: High school diploma preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the cleaning industry. Skills/Requirements: Bilingual in English/Spanish. Basic knowledge of ExpressTime, CompanyCam, Email communication, Daily Recap Communication Must have reliable transportation that allows them to travel from one location to another. An ability to work with others and lead small teams. Self-motivated, energetic, and able to cover when needed. Able to lift 35 pounds and carry a 25-pound backpack vacuum cleaner. Position includes frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching. Must be willing to work in damp, dusty, or soiled areas and handle human waste and other bodily fluids when necessary.
