ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team as a Performance Improvement Program Manager.
This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, working across teams, and helping create safer, more reliable care. You’ll partner with clinical and operational leaders throughout the health system on initiatives involving quality, patient safety, accreditation, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support performance improvement, quality, patient safety, and accreditation initiatives.
Partner with nursing, physicians, and operational leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop sustainable solutions.
Facilitate regulatory and accreditation readiness activities, including tracers, self-assessments, and follow-up action plans.
Use improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, 5 Whys, and process mapping.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and performance measures.
Analyze clinical and operational data and communicate results through dashboards, scorecards, reports, and presentations.
Help teams implement and sustain workflow and process improvements.
Educate, coach, and support staff and leaders in performance improvement methodologies.
Collaborate across disciplines to advance a culture of continuous improvement, patient safety, and high reliability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current RN license eligible to practice in the State of Delaware
Minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare experience
Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple initiatives and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Preferred:
Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field
Experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, accreditation, performance improvement, project management, or nursing leadership
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams or multiple healthcare projects
CPHQ, Lean Six Sigma, or Project Management certification
Experience with electronic health records, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or similar data and reporting tools
