The HR and Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting human resources functions while promoting and maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and workplace safety standards.

What You'll Do:
- Recruiting administration; including posting positions to various job sites, screening candidates, and drug testing and background check administration.
- Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews.
- Assist with timekeeping responsibilities.
- Training administration for HR and Safety; including recordkeeping and conducting in-person training.
- Assist in coordinating special events.
- Prepares and maintains a variety of routine to moderately complex reports for management.
- Engages, implements, and effectively communicates with plant employees and leadership on best practices as it pertains to HR and Safety.
- Attends training and educational seminars as appropriate to learn regulatory requirements.
- Visibly demonstrates a personal commitment to safety and the safety of all employees and contractors.
- Abide by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- All other special projects or tasks as assigned.

What You'll Bring:
- College Degree preferred
- Two (2) or more years of experience in Human resources, recruiting, administration, safety or related field.Â
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- PHR Certification preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

What You'll Earn:
- Wage range: $32 - $35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates who bring extensive related experience, strong technical knowledge, and skills that closely match the needs of the position.

The Work Schedule:
- Fully onsite position.
- Monday – Friday; although there may be the occasional need for weekend work.
- The working day is expected to be 7 AM – 4 PM or 8 AM – 5 PM.
