Shifts Available: Full-Time Part-Time Days Nights WeekendsWhat we will provide you as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver: $13.50 - $16.50/Hour (depending on experience, longevity and behavior) Weekend add-on rate (applies to certain shifts and conditions) Incentive bonus potential PTO for full time employees after 90 days of employment No mandatory overtime! Weekly pay 401K Retirement Savings Plan with company match after one year of employment Health insurance allowance $250 Employee Referral Program Worked Holidays are paid at a premium An amazing and fun team atmosphere that is supportive and transparent Paid Training for CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration 8% Immediate discount on AT&T Wireless Services Flexible schedule and ability to maintain a healthy work/life balanceAs a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver you will: Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities Help with daily activities including personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation Work closely with a team of people including co-workers, consumer family members, and medical professionals to help our clients to live as independent as possible Transport clients as needed to appointments and other activities Accompany clients to medical and other appointments to ensure their needs are met by the physician or providerQualifications: Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred. **DODD will temporarily waive the requirement that DSPs must have a high school diploma or GED. This waiver will be effective through September 30, 2023. Employees without a high school diploma or GED cannot be certified to administer medications Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and written A personal vehicle that is well maintained if transporting clients Must successfully complete a criminal background checkPreferred Experience: One year working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver / Home Health Aide / Home Health Care / Personal Care experience is a plusLicenses/Certifications: CPR/First Aid - Provided if you are not currently certified Medication Administration - Provided if you are not currently certified Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 5 points on your driving record if transporting clients DODD Provider Training Proof of personal auto insurance
