Performance-based Ushers are needed for NJPAC 2024-2025 Season (weekly hours worked vary).                                                                                    

Ushers will be scheduled according to availability and performance calendar. This position is a Union job.

Responsibilities: 
ï‚· Must be friendly, polite and enthusiastic.
ï‚· Assist with special requests as needed.
ï‚· Assist patrons by scanning tickets, greeting and escorting patrons to their seats, distributing programs, and attending to guests with special needs

Qualifications and Special Requirements: 
ï‚· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
 Weekend availability is required, Sunday is a mandatory workday. 
 Daytime and/or Open availability is a plus. 
ï‚· Experience in guest/customer service or hotel/hospitality industry.
ï‚· Experience with guest accessibility or cash handling is a plus.
ï‚· Ability to anticipate and fulfill the needs and concerns of guests.
ï‚· Possess a sensitive, friendly, engaging personality, and professional demeanor.
ï‚· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
ï‚· Must not be afraid of heights.
