At Jefferson House we provide excellent long-term care and rehabilitation services to seniors in the greater Hartford area for over 120 years.  We are comprised of a skilled and caring staff which provides seniors with Nursing Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Spiritual Services, and Social Services, aimed at caring for the whole individual.

 

Under direct supervision of the Housekeeping/Environmental Services manager, performs work of ordinary difficulty and assumes responsibilities in the area of Housekeeping/Environmental Services.  General cleaning and routine related activities in assigned areas according to the department standards, policies and procedures.  Maintains a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors and hospital personnel

 



 

 

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment as trained
  • Able to follow safety procedures as trained 
  • Flexible team player able to interact well others
