As a Shop Mechanic, your more typical responsibilities will include: Pre-deliver, inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair farm and agricultural equipment. Order parts and prepare repair estimates. Prepare accurate inspection and service reports and maintain other records as required. Complete jobs and repair estimates. Keep work areas clean and orderly. Work in a safe manner. Comply with company policies and government regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Include: Currently seeking an EXPERIENCED mechanic/technician with 2 or more years mechanic experience working on equipment (ag/turf preferred) Technical or vocational degree in mechanical field strongly preferred Willingness to learn, coachable, good communication skills required Basic set of tools required Recent computer usages in similar dealership software required Life at James River EquipmentAbout the Benefits Joining the team at James River Equipment means you’ll enjoy a wide range of benefits, many of which start on day one of your employment with us.
