Job description:

 

Join Boston Center for Plastic Surgery, one of the premier plastic surgery and aesthetic practices in the Boston area. Our team is known for delivering exceptional surgical and non-surgical care in a luxury, patient-centered environment. We are seeking a polished, energetic, and compassionate professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about creating an outstanding patient experience.

 

As the first point of contact for our patients, both on the phone and in person, you will play a vital role in shaping every patient’s experience with our practice. The ideal candidate is warm, professional, detail-oriented, and able to multitask with confidence. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and understands the importance of delivering high-end customer service with empathy, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently and accurately
  • Become proficient in practice software systems for scheduling and patient communications
  • Welcome and assist patients during check-in and check-out
  • Process payments, and assist with end-of-day reconciliations
  • Schedule follow-up appointments, check schedules for accuracy and ensure all appointments have been confirmed
  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and comfortable reception area
  • Assist with general administrative and office responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a professional and polished demeanor
  • Prior experience in a medical office, hospitality, luxury retail, or other high-touch customer service environment

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of aesthetic, cosmetic, or medical terminology

  • Experience working in a plastic surgery, dermatology, med spa, or healthcare setting

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and Google suites.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $24.00–$32.57 per hour based on full-time employment. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. Certain roles may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
