Manager of Human Resources (HR) - Full Time - Days

JOB TITLE: Manager of Human Resources

CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Exempt

PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT:   Human Resources

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:  Vice President of Human Resources

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the VP of Human Resources the Manager of Human Resources will provide assistance and support in the management of the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies and programs at the Agency.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or HR Management and three (3) years experience in HR management.

OR

An equivalent combination of education, training and directly related HR experience deemed adequate to successfully perform the job.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must possess an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Human Resource Management, employment law and associated reporting requirements.

Proficient in computer skills with advanced knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems and Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Must present a positive and professional image as it relates to internal and external communication.

Strong verbal and written communication.

Excellent organizational skills.

Must have effective listening skills and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess the ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with employees at all levels in the organization.

Must be flexible and able to multi-task in performance of job.

Sedentary work in addition to performing light lifting required per program or site specific needs.

Must have valid New York State driver’s license and meet the Agency’s driving policy, which includes a satisfactory driver’s license record (MVR).

SALARY:

$70,000-80,000 per year
