Guitar Instructor (Part-Time)

Description

The Niles Park District is seeking a passionate and skilled part-time guitar instructor to join our team and inspire the next generation of musicians!  

• Plan and deliver engaging guitar lessons for children and teenagers.
• Teach fundamental guitar techniques, music theory, and basic music notation.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote a love of music and inspire a lifelong appreciation for the guitar.

Requirements

• Proficiency in playing the guitar.
• Prior teaching experience, especially with children and teenagers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and the ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
• Reliability and strong commitment to the role.

• This is a part-time position, 5-15 hours per week, after school/evenings.
• $30.00 per hour
