The PeopleSoft ERP Managerās role is to supervise and maintain the organizationās PeopleSoft application through best practices and the appropriate staffing and management of a technical team.Ā Ā The PeopleSoft ERP Manager is also responsible for planning and coordinating the processes required for the provision of the PeopleSoft application, interfaces and sub-systems.Ā Ā This individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the user group on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.Ā

The PeopleSoft ERP Manager also functions as a hands-on Project Manager and analyst as neededĀ to support business objectives.Ā

Key Responsibilities:Ā
Evaluating, installing, configuring, and deployingĀ new applications, system interfaces, products, and enhancements to the existing PeopleSoft application.Ā
AnalyzingĀ documentation and technical specifications of application upgrades/Ā enhancements under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality.Ā
ManagingĀ the development and deployment of new PeopleSoft enhancements, upgrades, interfaces and related systems.Ā
EnsuringĀ that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.Ā
Leading and managing the performance of theĀ application teamĀ and external resourcesĀ in support of business operations.Ā
LiaisingĀ with network administrators and software engineers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing.Ā
Reviewing and analyzingĀ existing applicationsā effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.Ā
DevelopingĀ and communicatingĀ training and documentation for end users, hold clinics as necessary, and other user-related activities.Ā
SupportingĀ commitment to safety and other selected company standards and certificationsĀ

Four-year college degree with six yearsĀ PeoplesoftĀ ERPĀ experienceĀ (must be from an accredited institution) orĀ twelveĀ yearsĀ PeoplesoftĀ ERPĀ experienceĀ withoutĀ a college degreeĀ Ā
Ā
Technical Skills andĀ Competencies RequiredĀ
DemonstratedĀ abilityĀ in leading staff and cross-functional teams.Ā
Proven experience in overseeingĀ orĀ leadingĀ the design, development, and implementation of major PeopleSoft enhancements and/or upgrades.Ā
Strong functional expertiseĀ in at leastĀ 3 PeopleSoft disciplines.Ā
Working knowledge of the PeopleSoft architecture and database organization.Ā
Thorough understanding of Excel, Query, Crystal, SQL and other business tools.Ā
Proven experience in the operation and analysis of database, hardware, software, and standards, and data retrieval methodologies.Ā
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.Ā
Strong customer-service orientation.Ā
Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.Ā
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.Ā
