Join our vibrant community team as a Youth Center Attendant, where you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for young people. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to youth development and community building while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and monitor youth and help ensure their safety and wellbeing while in the Youth Center

- Plan, organize, and facilitate recreational, educational, and social activities for youth participants-helping with homework when appropriate

- Provide guidance and support to youth, fostering positive interactions and personal growth

- Maintain a clean and organized environment within the youth center

- Enforce rules and regulations to promote a respectful and inclusive atmosphere

- Collaborate with staff and parents

- Address behavioral issues promptly and professionally, escalating concerns as needed

- Sell snacks, beverages and other approved items and accurately process transactions. Complete daily sales report.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure

- Knowledge of youth development principles and recreational activities

- First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

- Reliable, responsible, and committed to fostering a positive environment
