SAIC is hiring a Radio Frequency Engineer in North Charleston, SC.
The role involves researching, designing, and developing communication systems to demodulate and decrypt RF signals, along with custom PCB design and hardware-software integration.
Candidates should have experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and C, and be familiar with tools like KiCad and Matlab.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, and applicants must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.

SAIC is currently hiring an Radio Frequency Engineer to support our team in North Charleston, SC.

Job Duties:

Research, design, and develop sophisticated communication systems capable of demodulating and decrypting RF signals
Design and develop custom printed circuit boards (PCB)
Integrating hardware and software components
Develop and execute test plans for system-level validation of hardware and software components
Develop technical reports and present findings to stakeholders

Desired Technical Skills:

Programming: Python, Java, Assembly, C, HTML, CSS
Engineering Tools: KiCad, KeySight ADS, LibreVNA, Matlab, LTSpice, Tensorflow, Autodesk Inventor
Hardware Tools: Dataman (ISP Programmer), Vector Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Function Generators, Multimeters
Software: Git, Wireshark, Linux, Windows, Microsoft Office, Jira, Bitbucket
