At Peak Technologies, we deliver innovative audio-visual and lighting solutions that power extraordinary live events and experiences. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful execution of complex, large-scale AV projects from concept through completion.

This role partners closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to manage all aspects of project delivery including estimating, planning, logistics, and onsite execution—ensuring exceptional client experiences and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale events, including conferences, concerts, sporting events, and trade shows
  • Manage all phases of AV and lighting projects, from initial planning through onsite delivery and post-event wrap-up
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets across multiple concurrent projects
  • Coordinate labor planning, scheduling, and onsite staffing for installation and dismantle
  • Oversee onsite teams and manage travel logistics, including flights, hotels, and expense reporting
  • Confirm venue requirements, including load-in/out procedures, power access, and dock logistics
  • Collaborate with internal production teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of AV solutions
  • Provide technical guidance on AV and lighting alternatives to meet client objectives and budget requirements
  • Track and manage transportation and logistics, proactively resolving issues such as delays, damages, or lost shipments
  • Troubleshoot project challenges in real time, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare material lists, estimates, proposals, and client communications
  • Source and procure specialty AV equipment and services in partnership with Procurement
  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards, timelines, and financial targets
  • Maintain strong relationships with service contractors and vendors nationwide and internationally
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and internal best practices
  • Utilize Peak Technologies systems and tools to manage project workflows and reporting
  • Interpret and develop basic drawings, layouts, and signal flow diagrams as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) and 5–10 years of experience in project management, preferably in live events, AV production, or related fields—or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience managing complex AV and lighting projects in fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of AV systems, including signal flow, power distribution, rigging, and equipment logistics
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, floorplans, and setup documentation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with domestic and international vendors and teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively under pressure
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
